I am a writer and digital strategist living in Washington, DC. I write about media, politics, women’s issues and international affairs, and my work has been featured in the Washington Post Online and NPR.org. I also work as a digital strategist at the DC-based firm New Media Strategies.
I am a graduate of the University of Illinois, where I studied political science and Middle Eastern studies.

I stumbled upon your blog by sheer chance and I read your article on Obama and let me start by saying that you write very well and yes I was overjoyed when Obama said that we are a nation of Christians and Moslems, Jews and Hindus and non believers. It made a special connection with me.

I was looking for ways to self promote myself and my new novel and found your blog. I must say I actually agree with your blog about women and self promoting. I’m doing all my shyness (smiley face) can handle. I do know, however, that in order to get out into the big leagues, I need to self promote. You are right! It’s so damn hard. But I digress..
